    Hi Casey,
Loved hearing about your adventures in healthy living! What, exactly, is guac (?),
what does it taste like and where can I get it?

Haha, Guac is Guacamole. (Told you I abbreviate way more than necessary!) My favorite is homemade guac with tons of veggies in it! I put it on everything or just eat it straight.

There is a fairly large organic supermarket that recently opened in my area. Could you give me a list of some
good staples to have one hand – I always have whole wheat tortillas, hummus and good yogurt – but stuff like
fakin bacon, tempeh (?), don’t know about.

    Thank you!

Tempeh and Fakin’ Bacon are both made from tempeh which is fermented soybeans. Fakin Bacon is just tempeh presliced and coated in barbeque sauce. You can find it next to items like tofu and cheese in the refridegerated section

I purchased, but have not yet used, tempeh and fakin’ bacon. My favorite sandwich is BLT so I think I will try that (with avocadoes) in the next few days.

I have a lot of appointments today – work has been a bit hellish with down time devoted to the World Cup and the Tour de France so we are going to bed about 1AM every night – pretty stupid!! I will call you later to say goodbye. I know you will have a wonderful experience.

    Love, Bonnie

Hey Jan, it is currently only sold at Whole foods in the rocky mountain and southwest regions but will be expanding to more regions in June!
