Obsessions
Even though I love change, I do tend to get obsessed with things from time to time all the time. Anything from badminton to hummus to vests. I’ll just stick with the food obsessions for now though.
Hummus- Really any form of the chickpea in general will do. You have not lived until you’ve made love to a chickpea.
Froyo (and I’m talking about the tart stuff people) – I once went on a froyo tour of Austin. It did not disappoint. I usually make it a mission to try out all the new froyo places that pop up and rank them accordingly to my preference
Guac – Its good savory, sweet, as a condiment, and as the main ingredient.
Blueberries – You can spot a blueberry lover by the faint tint of blue on their fingertips.
COFFEE – I cannot resist this flavor or the scent at all. I think anyone who goes to school or works can list of the multitude of reasons why coffee is soo fantastical. Ever since I had true coffee in Australia, I won’t be satisfied unless there’s some majorly strong espresso in there.
Cheese – Weakness. Goat rules over all other varieties. But I do love me some fake cheese too
Mushrooms – They make me happy, they make me healthy. They’re the only kind of fungus that I welcome into my kitchen.
Scone – The British were on to something here. Something genius, that goes conveniently well with a cup’o’joe.
Squash – I don’t quite get the allure of the sport. But I’d give it a go if I was promised some winter squash if I won. Best served in winter, stuffed to the brim with fruit or grains.
Dates – Not the kind of the dinner-and-a-movie variety, Medjools to be specific. Unless I’m eating em straight, I’ll pretty much always pair this with goat cheese.
These are the obsessions with the most staying power. The ‘if I had to live on island and could only eat…’ type of foods. I still get into kicks where I’ll have quinoa for two weeks straight or yogurt topped on every meal.

Oh my God – we are so similar! LOVE squash – addicted to Butternut! Cheese is my “frenemy” – I eat WAY too much of it…and yet it’s there – everyday…GOAT rocks
Blueberries for sure.
Don’t get me started on Hummus…
I will proudly join you in the cheese-a-holcis anonymous club.
Hehe, I love hummus! Ever since I was a little girl (when I lived in Turkey), my parents would get me some hummus and a hunk of bread. I would then proceed to tear off a peice of bread, gently dip it into the hummus, and then eat it.
YUMMY!
I love Blueberries, Mushrooms, and Dates TOO!
